The first meeting with the client allows you to better understand the project and to display your arguments.
The meeting generally takes place in two stages:
Identify the client's needs (we advise you to arrive with a list of prepared questions)
Sell your expertise (by highlighting your references in relation to the need)
What should you do after the meeting?
Don't hesitate to send an email directly to the client to thank them for the meeting and recap the next steps (especially on the sending of a commercial proposal)!
And of course, it's important to keep the client informed of any unforeseen circumstances on your part, whether it's an additional delay in sending the proposal, or if you decide not to continue discussions on this project for any reason.
